Design
Utopa is developed from the desire of the designer to relax or discuss with his friends in one piece of furniture, without empty spaces between them. This creates a whole different atmosphere of being together. By its design, you can completely withdraw from your surroundings. Design by Jesse Nelson van den Broek. Limited edition
Used materials
The Utopa is made of a blue steel frame, which is built in 5 parts. This makes it possible to build up the Utopa in every space. The frame is covered with wooden boards, on which hemp is attached for its acoustic insulation value, warmth and soft comfort. In the mattress and cushions, horsehair is used, covered with virgin wool. The use of pocket springs embedded in hemp make the Utopa very comfortable. The legs are made of Elm wood.
Tailor made options
The comfort of the mattress can be discussed with you. It is up to you to decide which fabric of the Bute collection will be used for covering. The buttons are handmade. It is up to you to choose the different materials, completion and even choose to put your engraving inside.
Fabrics
The used materials come from the high quality collection of the Scottish weaver company Bute. Make your choice from the Tweed fabrics collection, you will benefit from our very competitive purchase price. After consultation, you can also choose from the other fabrics of Bute.
Matras
Due to the uneven nature of these materials there can be crinkles in the cover after using, it is important to know that you have to maintain the mattress like you do with a bed matress. This is typical from the lose cover and material and is not considered a flaw.
